Tell us about your home.

A short form: address, home type, average bill, contact, consent. No phone calls to start.

What you do
  • Enter your address (we autocomplete it)
  • Pick your home type & roof age
  • Tell us your average monthly bill
  • Add your name, email and phone
What we do
  • Validate the address against Google Places
  • Check that we cover your province
  • Calculate which 2026 incentives apply to your address
  • Capture your CASL consent record (IP + timestamp + version hash)
You leave step 01 with: You find out whether we cover your area before you finish.

We match you with one vetted installer.

No call-centres, no bid-auction pressure. We pick the single best-fit local installer for your province and write a one-page brief on your home.

What you do
  • Get your confirmation email
  • See the installer's name + phone number
  • Pick a time window when it's okay for them to call
What we do
  • Run your address through our matching engine
  • Filter by certification (Tesla Powerwall, CanREA) + installs in your area
  • Send your brief to that one installer
  • Block any lead-aggregator or out-of-network contact
You leave step 02 with: One vetted installer knows who you are. Nobody else.
Step

Typical timing

Get your quote + your rebate report.

Your installer sends a full quote. We package it with your real 2026 provincial rebates and net-metering rules so you see the true numbers, not a generic pitch.

What you do
  • Book a site visit with the installer
  • Review the quote + rebate report we send you
  • Ask the installer questions directly, not through us
What we do
  • Wait for the quote to land
  • Sanity-check it: equipment, warranty, financing, timeline
  • Flag anything odd: missing line items, mismatched sizing, hidden fees
  • Attach your province's real 2026 rebate math
You leave step 03 with: Your quote + a rebate report sized to your address.

Pick your installer and go solar.

Your matched Canadian installer takes it from here: permits, install, switch-on, and the equipment warranty. One vetted company, start to finish.

What you do
  • Review the quote and sign with your installer
  • Book your install date
  • Watch your bill drop
What we do
  • Introduce you to one matched installer, never a list and never resold
  • Confirm they're licensed, insured, and certified
You leave step 04 with: One vetted installer · your info is never sold
What we won't do

Our hard floors.

We started this because solar lead-gen made buying solar feel like buying a used car. These are the four lines we don't cross.

Floor 01

No call-centres

We don't have a sales team. The only person you talk to is the installer.

Floor 02

One installer, never a list

Exactly one vetted installer per request. Not five, not "as many as our network will fill." One, listed by name on our partners page.

Floor 03

No "today only" pricing

Quotes are valid 30 days minimum. If an installer pressures you with a same-day discount, tell us, we delist them.

Floor 04

We never sell your info

Beyond your one matched installer, your information goes nowhere. No retargeting, no data brokers, no third-party aggregators.

Process questions

Things homeowners ask before they start.

Do I have to go with the installer you match me to?
No. You can walk away at any point with zero obligation, and we never charge you. The installer absorbs the matching cost regardless of outcome.
What if the installer isn't a good fit?
Email hello@solarinstallquotes.com and we'll match you with a different vetted installer at no cost. It's rare, but it happens, usually when someone wants a specific equipment brand.
How are installers vetted?
Local, licensed, insured and certified (e.g. Tesla Powerwall Certified, CanREA member), with installs already in your area. We re-verify annually, and the same partner handles every request for your province, so they are accountable.
How do you make money?
The installer pays us a flat referral fee, and only if you proceed. The fee is the same regardless of system size, so we have no incentive to push a bigger system than you need. It is disclosed on our buyer-partners page.
How is this different from a lead-aggregator site?
Aggregators sell your details to many installers, often out of province, then disappear. We match you to one local installer and package the quote with your real rebates. Our disclosure reads "one installer, listed by name," not "up to 10 partners."
